Salone di Mobile 2012

This week at Salone di Mobile in Milan Lenny Kravitz debuted his reinterpretation of six ‘mademoiselle’ chairs, which were originally designed by Philippe Starck for Kartell.

This week at the Salone di Mobile in Milan Philipe Starck and Eugeni Quillet presented their collaboration ‘masters stool’ for Kartell. It is a reworking of their 2010 collaboration the ‘masters chair’. This new version has a smaller seat and longer legs.  The signature graphic design of both versions is the product of the designers combining the silhouette of the ‘Series 7’ by Arne Jacobsen, the ‘Tulip Armchair’ by Eero Saarinen 
and the ‘Eiffel Chair’ by Charles Eames. It is made of polycarbonate and has a matte finish.

For Milan’s Salone di Mobile 2012 designers Maurizio Galante and Tal Lancman showcased two new prints for the tattoo poufs that made their debut last year and the two-seater version of last years louis xv goes to sparta.
