This stunning Semplice table lamp by London based design company Industrial Facility in collaboration with Oluce will be previewed this week at the Salon Internazionale del Mobile 2013 in Milan. The light diffuses downwards from within the metal ‘shade’ and is contained within the glass, giving the impression that it is hovering above the table surface. Air and light seem to be moving. We love the phenomenal interaction it creates with the space around it.
It would look amazing on this iconic Aqua table (2008) by Zaha Hadid for Established and Sons, with its curvaceous, undulating forms flowing within space. The lower structural body is made of polyester with a silicon gel top and the whole structure implies movement by adopting the gestures of liquid. What a dynamic combination!
