Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum Presents its 2008 exhibition “House Proud: Nineteenth-century Watercolor Interiors”, in Paris this fall at the Museé de la Vie Romantique. Featuring 89 watercolors the exhibition explores the evolution of interior design in the 19th-century home and considers how interior spaces reflected the impact of contemporary social, cultural, economic and political developments.
