Yonnel Lubovici

This extraordinary ‘Pyramide Pantographe’ lamp (1978) by Yonnel Lubovici is lot 176 in the Artcurial sale on 15 May with an estimate of €15,000-25,000. It reflects the artist’s background in aeronautics and his long and fruitful love of light aluminum metal. He said “I do not like to be bored or to bore others. I love and want easy, pleasant playful things of which the utility in the end will depend on the imagination and desires of the individual”.
(Note Ingo Maurer’s Porca Miseria! chandelier in the background!)
